Hello everyone! Today it has been fine and reasonably sunny in the afternoon, so I was able to get my washing dried. It was still quite cold this morning but it has warmed up now. It is good to see some blue sky and feel the warmth of the sun.
At the Acorn Centre I supported some students doing the computer and in between I played Solitaire. I am not a natural at games, but today I managed to complete a game and felt really chuffed! It makes the students laugh to see how much difficulty I have in playing the simple Solitaire! It makes them feel better that they can do something better than me!! I find it quite addictive and keep trying again. I have to play very slowly to try and avoid missing a move.
Malcolm prepared some fresh trout fillets to go with peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, as a delicious filling for our jacket potatoes. It has energised me enough to get my ironing done; it is a chore I do not relish, so piles awaiting ironing tend to grow, until I finally tackle them and feel very virtuous! I love to relax on Friday evening and enjoy the company of my beloved.
