Rest and balance is essential for health

Hello everyone!  Today I had a better day.  I have been more careful this week not to overdo it, and I am ashamed to say that I am still rather overtired!  On Tuesday I set off for a meeting only to find out I had missed it as it was on Monday night!  I felt terrible and got quite upset.  I left a message of apology on our minister’s answer machine and I sent an explanatory and apologetic email.  I had a response and our minister was very understanding, so I feel better now.  I had a proper lunch break at the Acorn Centre, and had a more restful time, which was good. 


This evening we had May to an evening meal, as it was her birthday.  Her family could not be with her, so I invited her to join us.  My beloved prepared delicious oven cooked salmon with wok cooked peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, and new potatoes.  As usual it was delicious and I had bought a Thornton’s toffee cake for a birthday cake.  We sang happy birthday to her and pulled crackers.  We were pleased that May enjoyed her meal with us and felt that it had made her birthday special.  I am now relaxing with my beloved, enjoying a couple of glasses of wine, and some TV.  This is the day that the Lord has made and I rejoice and glad in it.
