The Journey Home

Hello everyone!  On Saturday morning we set off for home, leaving at 10.10am and arrived home at 1pm after filling up with petrol.  We had been invited to join Margaret and my other siblings for a picnic lunch in her garden at Midday, but my beloved had only been kept going whilst I was celebrating with my siblings on Friday by the thought of returning home as soon as possible on Saturday.  I could see him visibly relaxing as we approached home, and he just kept smiling once we had arrived.  I must admit it is good to be home.  Just after we arrived home Cathy popped in for a chat, whilst someone was viewing their house.  It was good to hear she had an appointment on July 8th to see the Plastic Surgeon about her leg, and she has to allow 5 hours for pre operation tests.  Hopefully she will soon have an idea about what can be done.  We did some gardening and filled up the depleted bird feeders and then relaxed home again.  There is no place like home.  That was the day that the Lord has made and I rejoiced and was glad in it.
