Talking in my sleep!

Hello everyone!  It is a gloomy day and the wind is gathering speed gradually.  It is fine at present although it is cloudy. 

I just remembered a funny thing that happened the other morning, when I was woken in the middle of a dream in which I was talking to my best friend, Hilary.  I was making comments such as, ‘I did not know that’, as in the dream she was married to someone other than her husband and she was living at ‘St Mark’s Cottage’, if I remember rightly!!  It was the alarm which woke me up for work and so the dream ended abruptly!  What was funny was that my beloved was awake and listening with interest to my conversation in the dream and was sorry it stopped when the alarm went!!  I had not realised I was actually speaking aloud!!  My beloved’s comment was, ‘What a pity, I was enjoying the conversation!’   I don’t know why I seem to be dreaming more at the moment, at least remembering the dreams more vividly and I don’t usually talk in my sleep!

 

Today I actually cleared an accumulated pile of ironing, so I am feeling very pleased with myself.  I won’t admit how long the pile had been growing though.  As we had a special extra point voucher for the TableTable restaurant, which gave us triple points, we decided to have lunch there today.  It was a tasty meal, although the portion of the first course was small so we had a delicious sweet of a bitter chocolate torte, which was better value.  It was lovely to relax on a comfortable couch, holding hands as we chatted.  I did most of the moving to order the food and pay as my beloved is still moving with great difficulty.  This is the day that the Lord has made and I rejoice and am glad in it.
