Sunday September 7th Worship at Wesley Chapel

On Sunday September 7th our minister Trevor Dixon led the communion service. We began worship as we sang ‘Ye servants of God, your master proclaim’ before the opening prayers from the Methodist Worship book. We then sang ‘My God how wonderful thou art’ before we heard the readings from the Old Testament, Ezekiel 33 v 7-11, the epistle, Romans 13 v 8-14. We then sang ‘Brother, sister, let me serve you,’ before the gospel reading from Matthew 18 v 15-20. Trevor then preached before he led the intercessions. We shared the peace before we sang, ‘Father, who in Jesus found us’. Trevor led the celebration of the Holy Communion before worship concluded as we sang ‘May the mind of Christ our Saviour’.
